What is free?
Lesson 0 (how the test works) and Lessons 1–4 with their practice questions, the diagnostic test, Mock 1, a 10-question preview of the Values Bootcamp, and review of any mistakes from that content. You do not need an account to start.
What does A$9.99 unlock?
Everything: Lessons 5–11 with practice, Mock 2, 3 and 4, the full 50-question Values Bootcamp and review of every mistake. It is a one-time payment for the Citizenship course — no subscription, nothing renews.
Do I need an account?
Not to learn free. Create one (email code, no password) to save progress across devices, and before buying so the purchase is tied to your account.
Can I use it on my phone and my laptop?
Yes. It runs in any modern browser. Sign in with the same email on each device and your progress follows you.
Are these the real test questions?
No one outside the Department has the real questions. Ours are original practice questions written from the official handbook, in the real format: 3 options, same scoring rules.
How is the real test scored?
20 questions in 45 minutes, 75% to pass — and all 5 Australian values questions must be correct. One wrong values answer fails the test regardless of your score. Our mocks score the same way and show the values result separately.
Is there a refund?
Yes — a 14-day change-of-mind refund, no questions asked. Email support@smilingquokka.app from your account email. We do not guarantee a pass and passing is not a refund condition.
Is this the official government site?
No. Ace Citizenship Test is an independent study tool by Smiling Quokka and is not affiliated with the Department of Home Affairs. The real test is booked through the Department only.

We work from the current edition, last updated by the Department of Home Affairs on 15 November 2024, and every question cites the section it comes from.
